Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation Limited (FDC) has signed an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract with NBCC (India) Limited on 2nd February 2021 for the development of 2000 housing units in Hulhumalé Phase 2 in line with the housing policy of the government.

The project is expected to commence in May 2021 and will consist of 1400 units of 900 square foot, 3-bedroom apartments and 600 units of 650 square foot, 2 bedrooms apartments. The total value for this project is 130 Million US Dollars and is planned to be financed via a loan from the Export Import Bank of India (EXIM Bank). The project is scheduled to be completed within 900 days.

Managing Director Ms. Salfiyya Anwar signed the EPC contract on behalf of FDC, Mr. Rajendra Chaudhari Director (Commercial) signed on behalf of NBCC (India) Limited. The signing event was held virtually. Stakeholders from various sectors related to this project took part in this event.

NBCC (India) Limited is a state-owned company of the Government of India. The Company’s areas of operations include Project Management Consultancy, Real Estate Development and Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) contracting.
