An Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract has been signed between Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation Limited (FDC) and Structures Unlimited LLC of America for the development of 4000 social housing units in Atolls and in Malé region.
Under this contract, 750 housing units will be developed in Addu Atoll, 500 units in Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll Thinadhoo, 1000 units in Laamu Atoll Gan, 1000 units in Haa Dhaalu Atoll Kulhudhuffushi and 750 units will be developed in the Greater Malé region.
The total value for this project is 249 million US Dollars. The project is scheduled to be completed within 36 months from the commencement date.
Managing Director Ms. Salfiyya Anwar signed the EPC contract on behalf of FDC and Chairman Mr. Kareem Jamal Abdus-Salaam signed the agreement on behalf of Structures Unlimited LLC.
